You will need to be at least 13 years old to compete in the event. But children who are 11 years of age, can be placed on a back of a tandem bike with a parent. International cyclists who intend to rent a bicycle for the event are advised to make reservations at least 6 months ahead. There is no official dress code for the event but wearing a proper helmet is obligatory. Wearing trainers, and regular cycling clothing will definitely provide more comfort.
